The Philosophy Club Presents "Bullshit!"

Philosophy Club The Philosophy Club is pleased to present the first of its new "Bullshit!" meetings.

Combining some of the best episodes of Penn & Teller's "Bullshit!" series with carefully chosen episodes of "South Park", the Philosophy Club presents "Bullshit!" so as to illuminate by sarcasm, satire, and snarky commentary.

  • Have you ever had thoughts that would have gotten you burned at the stake in centuries past, and might still?

  • Have you ever wondered whether you were the only genuinely skeptical person on campus?

  • Do friends sometimes ask you to shut-up about why they believe what they believe?

  • Do you ever fear you're the only one who gets that uncomfortable feeling that all is not as it seems and maybe they really are out to get you?

  • Have you ever wanted free pizza?

Then "Bullshit!" is for you!

This Monday, 9/24, from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. we hunt for Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, the Chupacabra, and other so-called cryptids in ST-108 for the first topic of "Bullshit!",

Cryptozoology

    Monday, 9/24.
    7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
    ST-108

Open to the entire University community.

Wow Don, you really should work in advertising. After reading that post, I am pumped up about tonight and I helped plan it! Hope the turnout is good. Oh, and by the way, the paperwork is done...we are still an officially recognized club.

Groovy. And thanks. I announced this in all my classes, although I didn't make it to Stef's lecture. It may take some time to build an audience, but I think this will take off.

    See you shortly!
