The Philosophy Club Presents More "Bullshit!"

from the bubble-bursting dept.

Philosophy Club The Philosophy Club proudly presents "Bullshit!"

Ingredients:

  • One carefully chosen episode of Penn & Teller's "Bullshit!";
  • Two especially snarky episodes of "South Park";
  • A large portion of well-ripened philosophical skepticism, mashed;
  • One large chunk of cynicism;
  • At least 15 smart, overworked, and stressed-out students;
  • Free pizza.

Preparation:

  1. Stir until blended;
  2. Let stand ten minutes;
  3. Repeat until bubbles form;
  4. Fold in additional skepticism and cynicism as needed until bubbles burst.

Caution: May cause laughter, thoughtfulness, and offense. Righteous indignation has been found in some clinical trials. Treat quickly with unsweetened cynicism.

The Cult of Personality

Prepare to have your favorite icons skewered (or, at least, humanized) as we learn disconcerting facts about our cultural and religious heroes.

    Monday, 10/22.
    7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
    ST-108

Open to the entire University community.
