"Ex Machina"

Today we will watch Ex Machina, the 2014 tech noir movie which draws on many of the puzzles we have been discussing the past two weeks.

Synopsis

We have about ten minutes left in the film, which is where the plot resolves (for better or worse, depending on whose perspective you take here.) Nevertheless, we have enough to go on in thinking about, well, artificial thinking! See Problem Set 10 for more. We'll finish the film Tuesday, discuss what it 'shows', and turn to a further puzzle.
